These guidelines apply to all guests renting rooms in Casa Laranja
at Ferragudo Oasis (Algarve).
By making a booking and completing check-in, these house rules become part
of the rental agreement. Their purpose is to ensure that all guests feel
comfortable and enjoy a relaxed and respectful stay.
1. General Information & Use of Rooms
- The rooms are intended solely for the number of persons stated in the booking.
- Passing the room on to third parties or subletting is not permitted.
- External visitors are welcome by prior arrangement; overnight stays are not permitted.
- Use of common areas by visitors must be communicated to Carmen in advance.
2. Rooms, Bathrooms & Linen
- Please leave your room and bathroom clean, tidy and well ventilated.
- Personal belongings and toiletries should be put away after use.
- Hygiene products, wet wipes or other items must not be disposed of in the toilet.
- Bed linen and towels are provided according to the booking agreement and are changed regularly.
- Additional linen changes are possible upon request and may incur an extra charge.
3. Common Areas
The kitchen, living room, hallways, terraces, garden and pool area are
shared spaces available to all guests.
- A friendly and considerate attitude towards one another is very important to us.
- Quiet hours: daily from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am to ensure everyone can relax.
Kitchen
- Please leave the kitchen clean after each use:
- Wash dishes or place them in the dishwasher
- Wipe down work surfaces, stove and oven
- Store your own food properly
- Dispose of rubbish regularly
- Please store food only in the assigned fridge compartments and cupboards.
- Other guests’ food may only be used with prior consent.
Waste
- Please separate waste (general waste, glass, paper, packaging).
- Full rubbish bags should be taken to the designated bins in good time.

Garden & Pool
- Please leave the garden and pool area tidy after use.
- Sun loungers, chairs and umbrellas should be returned to their original place.
- For safety reasons, glass bottles and fragile glasses are not permitted in the pool area.
4. Smoking, Alcohol & Pets
- Smoking is not permitted indoors.
- Smoking is allowed outdoors; please be considerate of other guests.
- Ashtrays must be used; cigarette ends must not be left in the garden or on the ground.
- Responsible consumption of alcohol is expected to ensure a pleasant atmosphere for everyone.
- Unfortunately, pets are not permitted.
5. Security, Keys & Liability
- Please ensure that house and access doors are locked when leaving.
- Please store valuables safely in your room.
- Loss of a key must be reported immediately; any resulting costs may be charged.
- Please treat the facilities and inventory with care.
- If any damage occurs, please inform us immediately.
6. Check-in & Check-out
- Check-in: between 1:00 pm and 9:00 pm.
- Please inform us of your expected arrival time in advance.
- Arrivals outside these hours are possible by prior arrangement and may incur an additional fee.
- Check-out: by 10:00 am on the day of departure.
- Please leave the room in a tidy condition and return the keys as agreed.
- Early check-in or late check-out may be possible upon prior confirmation.
7. Deposit / Security Bond
- A refundable security deposit may be required for certain bookings.
- Details regarding the amount and payment will be provided in the booking confirmation.
- If no issues arise, the refund will be processed no later than 30 days after departure.
8. On-site Contact
Carmen Cozma is your contact person during your stay:
- Check-in and check-out
- On site almost daily throughout the complex
- Support with questions, requests or concerns
- Languages: German, Portuguese, English
Please inform Carmen about special requests, visitors or any uncertainties —
she will be happy to assist you at any time.
Final Notice
In the event of serious or repeated issues, we reserve the right to terminate
the stay prematurely. In such cases, no refund will be granted.
